Dr Alastair Hay

I qualified as a medical doctor in 1991 and initially trained in general medicine (MRCP) before completing my training as a GP in 1997 (MRCGP). Since then I have held positions as both GP and university academic, completing my research doctorate in 2003. I have worked at the University of Bristol since 2001 (where I lead a group of researchers interested in the diagnosis and treatment of common infections) and at Concord Medical Centre since 2012, when I also become a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP).
