This role is eligible for the NHS New to Partnership Scheme, which provides £20000 to support establishment as a new Partner.

General Practice here in BNSSG is supported by two dynamic hospital trusts with whom Concord is actively forging strong relationships. Vacancy for Mental Health Worker - the closing date is 15 October 2021

Concord Medical Centre is starting a new phase of practice development and innovation as we emerge from the pandemic: ‘The Concord Project’, we have opportunities for a mental health (IAPT) worker (s) to join our superb team. If you are a compassionate, dynamic and experienced mental health worker and want to shape a new role at the heart of patient care then we really want to hear from you.

You will literally work alongside our GPs, as a first contact therapist, diagnosing, signposting and treating people with anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders with the opportunity to develop, expand and extend your interests as this role develops.

Main duties of the job

You will be the first contact therapist for patients with Anxiety, Depression and adjustment disorders.

You will work within a clearly defined Job Plan and Patient Group Directive to diagnose, signpost and treat as well as discharge and refer into other available services.

You will work closely with support services and our in house Wellbeing Coach.
