Dr Roys here with our next weekly post letting you know how we’re getting on at Concord Medical Centre. This week’s post is for the bank holiday, so the numbers are slightly lower. Even though the practice was open for one whole day less you can see the demand was still very similar, so we are grateful to our staff for managing to deal with so much still but in a shorter week.
Our reception team answered over 1,050 calls. Our average call wait time was just 4 minutes 54seconds Over 750 patients had appointments with our GPs, Clinical Pharmacists and Physiotherapists Over 290 patients had appointments our nursing team Almost 74% of your requests by phone or askmyGP were dealt with in < 7 days.AskmyGP remains the fastest way to make your requests so if you are able to use this directly then please do so and leave the phone lines open for those who cannot use the internet.

Our average call wait time was just 4 minutes 27 seconds Over 850 patients had appointments with our GPs, Clinical Pharmacists and Physiotherapists Over 360 patients had appointments our nursing team Almost 77% of your requests by phone or askmyGP were dealt with in < 7 days.The whole team continues to see high levels of requests but we’re proud to share this information and reassure you that we can address your needs in a timely fashion.
1,140 calls is a high number for our reception to manage as you can imagine. You can help us by making your request directly on askmyGP if you are able. This is often quicker than calling too and frees up the lines for those unable to use the internet.
